Lake Wolfgangsee is located in the federal state of Salzburg and is surrounded by a beautiful scenery of mountains and hills and offers perfect sailing conditions throughout the year.
The wind conditions are ranging from light thermal winds up to strong winds with 5bft or more. Because the lake is surrounded by mountains it is known for shifty winds and challenging racing conditions.
Host club UYC-Wolfgangsee is located at the north end of the lake (St.Gilgen) and is well known for organizing big international events like the Zoom8 World Championships 2015 and many other national and international championships. The Austrian D-One fleet is relatively small but constantly growing and we would be very pleased to welcome some international guests to our events. Lake Wolfgangsee is located near the city of Salzburg and easy to reach via the A1 motorway from all directions

Weekend from 26.-27.9.2020 in the center of Vienna there will be for the first time the “D-One Manöverpreis”.
At Old- Danube, the old main arm of ancient Danube in the heart of Vienna, at Wiener Yacht Club.
The Old Danube is cut off from the Danube and there is no current. It is app. 5km long and 300 meter wide, which guarantees lots of maneuvers and fun sailing the D-One.

The Old Danube is cut off from the Danube and there is no current. It is app. 5km long and 300 meter wide, which guarantees lots of maneuvers and fun sailing the D-One.
